Cosy Homes
Home is where the heart is. When you’re tired of the everyday hustling and cannot put up with the outdoor bustling, home is where you find comfort. Sinking into your soft bed, snuggling in a cosy corner or laying back on your comfy leather chair, this is what makes our house into a home. We have curated a list of cosy set-ups to add a soft touch to your home.
5. Soft lighting
When the nights get darker early, it’s tempting to go to bed around 7 p.m. Resist, but without the harsh overhead lighting, by fitting table lamps with warm-toned LED lights for a cosy candle-lit glow that’ll still keep you awake.
4. Blankets and Throws
One of the best ways to create a cosy atmosphere is with throws–especially when they’re made of soft fabrics like cashmere or cotton. They are easy to wrap around when things gets chilly and instantly encompass you with warmth. Soft linen blankets and white cotton comforters are the best way to create an enhanced homely atmosphere.
3. Bean bags
Mix fun and cosiness together by setting up bean bags on your floors. These are not only easy to sink into and drown all responsibilities but are also super easy to move around. They weight as much as feathers flocked together and hence, can be put in different spots, each time of use.
2. Rugs
Make your home feel cosy and comfortable by adding warmth underfoot with rugs. Since all the floors in all homes (except the basement) are wood or tile, rugs are a must-have! Layering rugs is another great way to increase the warmth and depth of a space–especially in winter.
1. Mattresses
Laying mattresses is the easiest way to cosy up a space. Close to the ground’s positive energy, mattresses are also good to stretch out a tired back. It creates the perfect platform to sit down and indulge in some game time with your loved ones. Throw in some bolster pillows to add to the comfort.
Isprava’s private villas in Goa and luxury villas in Coonoor host the most restful and warm ambiance. They are well-equipped with world-class amenities and utilities and foster bespoke designs and aesthetics. However, it is the attention to detail of soft and homely touches that sets our homes apart from all others.
